The day started out with balloons, a birthday sign, cards and Ryan rushing off to get Adam to school and himself to work. Ryan's been working late these last couple weeks, and his birthday was no exception. He got home about 8pm and the kids should have been in bed, so right when Ryan walked in we had our little party with him. The kids thought their dad would really like cupcakes for his birthday, so that is what we made him. After the little party the kids went to bed, but not right to sleep-something about eating too much sugar right before bed or something like that. (
Jenna thought it was pure torture that cupcakes sat on the counter for half the day and she couldn't have even one!)Hopefully Ryan and I will have a great evening out on Saturday and celebrate when he's not so tired and worn out from being at work all day.
I just had to add this picture of Jenna. She was in bed trying to sleep, but Logan was crying too loud, so she put her hands over her ears and fell asleep like that. Whatever works! :)
