Random Stuff

Here are some random happenings from the kids...
Adam played in the rain...he loved it!

Jenna got a new purse and loves to play big girl with it. When she first got it, she would put it on her arm and then say "bye" to us as she walked towards the door.

Logan is just adorable! He's getting so big!!

2 Month Stats

Logan had is 2-month checkup today. Here's the stats:
Height: 23.5" 75%
Weight: 9lbs, 15 oz. 25%
Head Circum.: 15.25" 50%
Because he dropped from the 50th percent to the 25th percent in weight, both my doctor and I agree that we need to supplement feedings with formula. I knew that this would probably be the case, but it's hard to not be a little disappointed and upset. It's been hard to not blame myself for low quality milk. My diet isn't the best, but we're not sure if that is really the issue since I've had both my other children drop off the weight charts, but they didn't start dropping until 5 months of age. Gggrrrr!
Any of you have the same problem? Any advice?
Look at this cute smile!

A birthday and a visit

Ryan's ??th birthday was on Monday. We went out on a date on Saturday, thanks to my brother and his wife for watching all three kids so we could have a fun night out. I love you Ryan, and hope this next year is a good one!
Also, my long-time friend, Tiffany came into town and spent all day Monday with me. I had a great time catching up with her and spending time with her little boy. I sure like it when her husband, Kyle, has to come to town for meetings. I didn't do a good job entertaining Tiff, but I hope she enjoyed our visit as much as I did.
Jenna and Kacen doing "nuckles."
Friends already!
Adam reading to Tiff. She didn't really think he could read...but he read some of the book to her.

Logan's Baby Blessing

We were able to bless Logan on Sunday. It was a beautiful blessing and I felt so grateful for such a sweet baby in my life. It was a very special day for us!
Thank you for the family who traveled for this special event.

Logan has started to smile a little bit...so cute!

Last night after all was calm, Jenna decided to break open a cheap kaleidoscope we had probaby gotten from a work party and put the plastic pointy things in her mouth. We had no idea if she swallowed some or not, so off the ER we went to get an X-ray done. Luckily they didn't see anything, so we were in the clear to go.

6 Weeks

Logan is 6 weeks old today. I can't believe he's getting that old already. So far in life Logan has gotten over being jaundice, got his umbilical granuloma taken care of (a piece of scar tissue that was sticking up from the belly button that the Doctor had to cut out so the skin could cover it) and last, but not least is taking some acid reflux medication. He's a trooper!
Logan is doing great holding his head up and has started to smile from time to time. He's so cute and we love him so much!
